Fez – Chefchaouen, the Blue City
A full-day experience to discover one of Morocco’s most charming and photogenic towns: Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City,” nestled in the Rif Mountains.
We will depart from Fez for Chefchaouen in the morning, enjoying the landscapes of northern Morocco and the changing scenery along the route.
Upon arrival, we will begin a guided walking tour of the Chefchaouen medina, exploring its narrow streets, small squares, charming corners, and distinctive houses painted in various shades of blue.
During the tour, we will learn about the city’s history, traditions, and unique identity, while also having time to browse the artisan shops and observe the daily life of the locals.
The visit will also include a stop at a panoramic viewpoint, offering a magnificent view of Chefchaouen and a chance to see how the blue city stretches across the Rif Mountains.
After some free time for lunch, a stroll, and soaking up the atmosphere of the medina, we will head back to Fez.
It is the perfect day to explore Chefchaouen at a leisurely pace, discover its most special spots, and experience the essence of one of Morocco’s most unique cities.
